Cap Barbell Solid Hex Single Dumbbell Reviews By Customers

Just like the others, this dumbbell is solidly built, and it feels very even in your hands. The design that keeps it from rolling is very beneficial, since you can put it pretty much anywhere that will support the weight. I think this is a good weight to start with, as it's a simple way to break into strength training without being too difficult. It's a particularly nice dumbbell for curls too. Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase. Check Special Price!

Great Dumbbell - M. Bell - USA
I use this dumbbell for bicep curls. Very nice and sturdy.

On Amazon it's going for i think... here's the bottom line. shipping is almost as much as the product. its pretty much a rip off. I bought the from a store near my house that I work at and I paid before any employee discount. now thats before shipping.

good dumbbell but not worth 60 bucks

Yup. Really does way 35 pounds. Does what it's supposed to do. - S. Albert - Lowell, MA
That paint you see on the numbers? Don't get too attached to it.
For a more comfortable grip try wrapping the handle in pipe insulation with ducktape. Also make sure you have floor mats. These are usually a better deal than the rubber coated ones.

High quality and sturdy - M. C. Beck - Studio City, CA
Feels great in your hand, as well. It's an excellent product. I had purchased a 20 lb weight of this brand over 10 years ago and it still is one of my favorites.

Solid - J. Smith - United States
This is a hexhead dumbbell: hefty and solid and great for doing exercises. It's simple, it's made of metal. It won't break unless you are trying to destroy it.

30 pounds is a lot for a beginner, but if you can do 20 or 25-lb bicep curls or tricep kickbacks with ease, it's time to move up.
